Don't you love the fact that the US unconditionally supports Israel?

I believe the greatest hindrance to the halting of building in occupied territories is that some Christians who support Israel are deluded into thinking that modern day Israel is the Israel of God referred to in the New Testament. Lord Balfour who knew nothing about the state of Palestine and failed to look into who were the indigenous population at the time contrived to create a state for Jewish people when Judaism was a religion and not a people. When the Jewish people later voted in 1948 to call the land given to them Israel instead of the other proposed name Judah, they allowed the majority of people to think that when the New Testament refers to the Israel of God it refers to them but the promises made to the Israel of God were made void when most of the Jewish people rejected the Christ of Christianity and thus they gained a homeland and claimed the promises. Certain Christian communities (usually charasmatics) never try to understand this and actively help modern day Israel to encourage immigration.
