For Israelis only - Why does Israel such a bad job in marketing itself?

Israel has its supporters, its friends and economic partners. if someone choses to believe the lies against israel then there is no likely no convincing that can be done to change his opinion. why waste government resources when people like yourself will come to forums like these and attempt to shed light. obviously any attempt will result in 0 results, but we all have an obligation to help out israel however possible, whether buying its products or supporting it here.
