UN: Israeli raid on Gaza aid flotilla broke law?

I see the usual names defending Israels actions on the flotilla and yet strangely silent about the murder of 1400 innocent women and children when Israel bombed and shelled them without mercy for 23 days and nights even using high explosive and phosphorus bombs The UN has condemned both these crimes but a few on here seem to know better Even Richard Goldstone, a Jewish judge said the same in his report to the UN . Is he wrong also ?
