Can an employer force you to quit?

If they dont want to pay you unemployment is it legal for an employer to try to force you to quit by creating a hostile work environment [ex. talking down to you, singling you out, telling you to do something a specific way then writing you up and threatening termination b/c they say you should have done it yet another way, using scare tatics such as asking you to come in for a "meeting" on your day off but refusing to tell you what its in regards to(that one especially would cause an undue amount of stress for anyone) asking coworkers to pull up your fb w/ private settings to snoop into your home life and refusing to give you a clear answer or an answer at all if you have questions] And can they withhold your paycheck if you refuse to quit?
