I'm 15 & I need bible verses about child abuse, please explain these bible passges to me?

The words used in 1610 do not have the same meaning as they do today. What is being described here is called corporal punishment, what we call spanking. It is not like you see in the movies where some one is tied to a pole and beat half to death with a stick or whip. You are exaggerating the understanding. Child abuse is not acceptable to christians, but discpline, and corporal punishment, are as a last result.
