Why did my husband freak out because he thought I was pregnant but.....?

But we agreed to try to conceive? We're on our 10 month of trying. What I don't get is, since he agreed to try for a baby too, shouldnt he be excited as I would be if I do fall pregnant? But instead, he freaked out and relieved after knowing it was a false positive? It really upsets me.
